How the Service Works
1 Locate an index entry
for a birth, marriage, death, or Catholic church record in an online,
microfilm, or microfiche index.- If you're just beginning your Chicago research and need to learn what records are available and how to find them, go to Research Tutorial.
- If you're an experienced researcher, but not famililar with the records that we can look up, begin with Lookups

3 Watch for an email with the subject "Invoice from ChicagoGenealogy.com." If you do not receive the invoice email within a few days of submitting your request, email us immediately. Most lookups go smoothly but if there's a glitch, hearing from you is the quickest way for us to discover it and fix it.
4 Send the lookup fees by PayPal or check.
5 Watch for a "Links to JPGs" email after we receive your payment and look for a paper copy of the record in your maibox a few days later.
