How the Service Works

1  Locate an index entry for a birth, marriage, death, or Catholic church record in an online, microfilm, or microfiche index.2  Go to Request Lookups and submit your requests. If you type your email address correctly on the submission form, you will receive a copy of your request for your records.

3  Watch for an email with the subject "Invoice from ChicagoGenealogy.com." If you do not receive the invoice email within a few days of submitting your request, email us immediately. Most lookups go smoothly but if there's a glitch, hearing from you is the quickest way for us to discover it and fix it.

4  Send the lookup fees by PayPal or check.  

5 Watch for a "Links to JPGs" email after we receive your payment and look for a paper copy of the record in your maibox a few days later.
